چکیده
There is a significant decrease in flow boiling CHF when the inertial force of fluid not large enough microgravity, but this tendency decreases with increase force. In present study, critical heat flux (CHF) subcooled at different gravity levels on smooth silicon surfaces was investigated. The working FC-72, subcooling 15 K. transfer characteristics, including CHF, wall temperatures and bubble behavior were studied. effects heater length, channel height velocity It found that increases velocity, length. Finally, correlation prediction developed based analysis results agree quite well experimental data within ±10%.

The Effect of Linear Change of Tube Diameter on Subcooled Flow Boiling and Critical Heat Flux
One of the major industry problems is the flow boiling, where reaching to the critical heat flux (CHF) condition can lead to a temperature jump and damage of the systems. In the present study, the effects of a uniform change in tube diameter on subcooled flow boiling and CHF was numerically investigated. The Euler-Euler model was used to investigate the relationship between the two liquid and v...
متن کاملPhotographic study of high-flux subcooled flow boiling and critical heat flux
This study examines both high-flux flow boiling and critical heat flux (CHF) under highly subcooled conditions using FC-72 as working fluid. Experiments were performed in a horizontal flow channel that was heated along its bottom wall. High-speed video imaging and photomicrographic techniques were used to capture interfacial features and reveal the sequence of events leading to CHF. At about 80...
متن کاملCritical heat flux for subcooled flow boiling in micro-channel heat sinks
Critical heat flux (CHF) was measured and examined with high-speed video for subcooled flow boiling in micro-channel heat sinks using HFE 7100 as working fluid. High subcooling was achieved by pre-cooling the working fluid using a secondary low-temperature refrigeration system. The high subcooling greatly reduced both bubble departure diameter and void fraction, and precluded flow pattern trans...
متن کاملExperimental Study on the Effect of Magnetic Field on Critical Heat Flux of Ferrofluid Flow Boiling in a Vertical Tube
In the present work, the critical heat flux measurements were performed for the subcooled flow boiling of pure water and magnetic nanofluids (i.e., water + 0.01 and 0.1 vol.% Fe3O4) in a vertical tube. The effect of applying an external magnetic field on the CHF variation was studied experimentally as well. The obtained results indicated that the subcooled flow boiling CHF in the vertical tub...
